After receiving his Law degree from the University of Sherbrooke in 2008, Mr. Guimier was awarded a Master's degree of Common Law recognized by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and a Master's Degree in International Trade Law from the University of Montpellier 1 in France.

 

       Following the completion of the Quebec Bar examination, Mr. Guimier specialized in civil and commercial law, with a focus in litigation, as an attorney in a Montreal Law firm. He represented numerous clients and has pleaded before most of Quebec's Courts as well as many administrative tribunals (Quebec rental housing board, Quebec Labor Relations Board, Tribunal administratif du Québec, etc.) In the beginning of 2012, Me Guimier joined Simard and Associates and now focuses his practice in Immigration Law for the entrepreneurs or investors based programs.

 

Mr. Guimier is currently a member in good standing of the following organizations:

• Member of the Quebec Lawyers Abroad association (AHQ)
